Grabbed this to teach my partner the game and the 60-card deck was ready to play straight out of the box, no deckbuilding needed. The reversible Lochagon playmat is a nice touch too, we just flip it for a fresh look each session.
The Aphrodite deck plays smoother than I expected for a starter — the tempo build actually lets you keep pressure without overcommitting. Getting three Lifestream packs plus the reversible playmat in the box felt like a nice bonus.
Bought this for my daughter and we ended up playing for three hours straight. The Aphrodite and Lochagon tempo build is genuinely fun without being complicated, and the reversible playmat is a nice touch since she flips it to the poster side between matches.
